Instructions for recorded project


1.       Work in pairs work. You will need a computer with a microphone!
2.       Have a look at the different discussion topics and wait until your teacher tells you which one is for your group.
-          Did you like reading this article? Why/not?
-          Why do some cultures love eating insects while others don't?
-          Would it be exciting to try all 1,900 insects?
-          What is the most disgusting food you can think of?
-          Could Westerners ever be educated to eat bugs?
-          Would insects taste better if they didn't look like insects on the plate?
-          Could you date someone who ate insects?
-          What would you do if you found a jar of insects in your fridge?
-          If scientists found insects were the healthiest food ever, would you eat them?
-          What questions would you like to ask an insect eater?
3.       Now that you have your topic look for information on the Internet to document yourself more about the same and try to reach an agreement with your partner of the main ideas.
4.       Record yourself talking about the topic using the following website: http://vocaroo.com/
5.       When you are doing your recording first of all present yourselves with your names and then start talking about the topic. The duration should be around 1 minute for each student.
6.       Once that you have your recording completed please post the link in the reading post in our class blog.
